My role: End-to-end event production, creative production for event collateral, event marketing & RSVP management, budget creation & management, volunteer & staff sourcing and management

Biodesign Challenge (BDC) is an interdisciplinary education program and competition that works with students to create projects that bridge art, design, and biotechnology. 

In June, the program concludes with a multi-day Summit held at the Museum of Modern Art and Parsons School of Design where teams from 50+ schools showcased their ideas to 40+ judges from across industry, academia, the arts and to the broader public. One team is awarded the grand prize, the Glass Microbe.

The 2024 event also included a Symposium for educators, researchers, and practitioners of Biodesign, student excursions to Genspace, BioBat, and the Swarovski offices, a Gallery Show exhibition, and various networking mixers throughout the week.
