PIONEER WORKS
SUPPER CLUB
Pioneer Works Supper Club is a dinner series created to celebrate local chefs as culinary artists and serve as a community gathering around a unique dining experience.
This edition of Supper Club was hosted in December as Pioneer Works’ “Last Supper” before year’s end. Inspired by Flemish still life paintings, the space was accented with whimsical vignettes highlighting an abundance of seasonal produce used throughout the menu (chicories, gourds, pears, mushrooms, etc). A crackling fireplace was projected behind the open kitchen to bring a warming old world feel.
Norberto Piattoni (The Modestos), known for his live open fire cooking and influenced by his Argentinian roots, was this Supper Club’s featured chef. Menu highlights included cross-roasted lamb, whole grilled pollock, ember-roasted (rescoldo) winter squash soup, and grilled raw milk dulce de leche panqueques.
